FT Technologies has been selected to take part in an exhibition demonstrating the very best of British manufacturing this summer.
Beating competition from hundreds of UK companies, FT Technologies will feature in the Government’s Make it in Great Britain exhibition at the Science Museum during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
FT Technologies will showcase their world beating wind sensors and educate visitors about the value of manufacturing to UK business.
The exhibition is the culmination of the Make it in Great Britain campaign - an initiative launched last year by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills which aims to challenge outdated opinions and transform the image of modern manufacturing.
FT Technologies designs and manufactures its unique wind sensors in Teddington and exports over 95% of its production to China, Europe and North America. The wind sensors are used by 12 of the 15 biggest manufacturers in the world to control their wind turbines. Sales have nearly doubled in the last three years.
